Gentle, light whiskies, often very dry and devoid of peat. Referenced as feminine drams.>>

Full bodied and balanced, with smoky, salty characters.>>

SKYE

Full body and peaty, a slight spiciness not found in the malts from more southerly islands.>>

SPEYSIDE

Elegant and complex, sometimes with a refined smokiness but more often a fruitness ranging from ripe pears to sultanas. >>
