ROYAL BRACKLA

HIGHLAND

Chocolatey, malty and sweet

Founded in 1812, on the outskirts of the delightful town of Nairn on the Moray coast. Royal Brackla was the first distillery to be given a royal warrant in 1835, when King William IV was clearly a fan of the fruity malt, with its distinct chocolate-sweetness.

The distillery with its four stills, has in recent years had a change of ownership, when Bacardi took control of the Dewars brand and associated distilleries from United Distillers. It is still too early to know how Bacardi shall position Brackla as a single malt, however it shall no doubt remain a major component in Dewars blend.
